Our Mission
Flexible Strength Chiropractic Studio is dedicated to caring for women and athletes with hyper mobility and unbalanced nervous systems who seek a thoughtful healthcare experience. Through intentional listening, we co-create individualized care plans with the patient that encompasses in office care and education driven empowerment to make meaningful lifestyle changes allowing patients to feel seen, supported, and strong in their bodies again.
Techniques
Dr. Gloria uses a mixutre of diversified, thompson drop, and activator to adjust. Soft tissue (muscle) treamtents include instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (gua sha) and various trigger point techniques. Soft tissue treatment is done to ensure all issues are addressed and adjustments are comfortable.
Meet the Doc
Dr. Gloria Arras was born and raised in Michigan. She attended The University of Olivet where her major consisted of Exercise Science, Biology Pre-Med and Sports Psychology. After Olivet, she attended Palmer College of Chiropractic - Florida Campus where she graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While at Palmer, she took additional courses in trigger point therapy, Gonstead Technique, Activator Method, and Flexion-Distraction.
Dr. Gloria has a strong passion for helping patients with hypermobility. She understands these patients usually have several associated symptoms and need a different type of care. Her care typically consists of releasing muscle tension, gentle adjusting techniques, and attention to the nervous system. At home care is also a large part of treatment. This ensures patients have the knowledge to care for their bodies through specific exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle changes is vital to quality care.
